Shop UVS is a small independent shop. We buy new, previous-season lingerie, sleepwear and swim outright, and sell it on for less than it first cost.

What “out of season” means

Clothing is made to a calendar. A color or a print is carried for a season, and when the next one arrives whatever is left stops being current - even though it is still new, still boxed, and still exactly what it was. That is the stock we buy, and it is why the price here is lower. Nothing we sell is a second, a sample or a reject.

Everything is genuine

We sell the real article, bought as finished retail goods and resold unaltered. It arrives new, unworn and with its original tags, in the sizing it was made in. If a piece ever reaches you as anything other than that, send it back and we will refund you in full.

We are independent

We are not connected to any of the brands we stock. No brand owner supplies us, approves us, endorses us or has any say in what we charge, and we are not an authorized retailer for any of them. We name brands only to tell you accurately what a piece is. Every trademark belongs to its owner.

What that means for you in practice: a manufacturer’s warranty or returns policy is theirs, not ours, and does not apply to anything bought here. Our own promises, which do apply, are on the returns and terms pages.

One of everything, mostly

Stock is bought in small lots, so most pieces exist here in one or two sizes and are gone for good once sold. The same shelf also supplies our eBay shop, and the two are kept in step - occasionally a piece sells in both places at once. If that happens to your order we will tell you straight away and refund you in full.
