Terms of sale

These terms apply to everything bought from Shop UVS at shopuvs.com. Placing an order means you accept them.
1. Who you are buying from
Your contract is with Shop UVS. We are an independent reseller of genuine goods that we have bought outright. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by or sponsored by any brand we stock, and we are not an authorized retailer for any of them. Brand names and trademarks appear on this site only to describe what an item is, and each remains the property of its owner.
2. The goods
Items are new and unworn with their original tags unless the listing says otherwise, and are sold exactly as supplied to us - unaltered, unrepackaged and not refurbished. Photographs are of the actual item wherever possible; screens render color differently, so a shade may not be an exact match.
Because we are not the manufacturer, no manufacturer’s warranty, guarantee or returns policy applies to a purchase from us. What you have instead is our own returns policy, plus whatever rights the law gives you as a consumer, which nothing here takes away.
3. Prices and availability
Prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping and any sales tax, both of which are shown before you pay. Where a higher reference price is shown struck through, it is the item’s original retail price, not a price we previously charged.
Stock is limited, usually to one or two of a size, and the same stock also supplies our eBay shop. Very occasionally the same piece sells in both places at once. If we cannot fulfil your order we will tell you promptly and refund that part of it in full; we may also cancel and refund an order affected by an obvious pricing or description error. Nothing on this site is an offer we cannot withdraw before it is dispatched.
4. Payment
Card payments are taken by Stripe on Stripe’s own secure pages. We never see or hold your card number. Your order is confirmed when Stripe confirms the payment to us, not when you submit the form.
5. Delivery, title and risk
We ship within the United States. Delivery estimates on the shipping page are estimates, not guarantees. Title and risk pass to you on delivery, so a parcel lost in transit is our problem to resolve, not yours.
6. Returns
You have 30 days from delivery to return an unworn item with its tags attached. The full policy, including who pays return shipping, is on the returns page and forms part of these terms.
7. Liability
We are responsible for supplying goods that match their description and for refunding you when they do not. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
8. Use of this site
The text, photographs and layout of this site are ours. Please do not copy them wholesale. Do not use the site to break the law, or attempt to interfere with how it runs.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it, so a later change cannot alter a sale already made.
