The short version: we keep what we need to send you your order and to deal with a return, we do not sell it to anybody, and we never see your card number.
What we hold
For an order: your email address, the delivery name and address you give at checkout, a phone number if you provide one, and what you bought and paid. Our payment processor also tells us the last four digits and brand of the card so an order can be matched to a payment.
Our web server keeps standard request logs, which include IP addresses, for a short period for security and debugging.
What we never hold
Your full card number, expiry date and security code. Those are typed on Stripe’s pages and go to Stripe, not to us - there is nowhere in this shop that could store them.
Cookies
One cookie, to remember what is in your bag and to carry you safely through checkout. It is not used to track you, and there is no advertising or analytics tracking on this site - which is why there is no cookie banner asking your permission for any.
Who else sees it
Only those who have to: Stripe, to take the payment; the carrier, to deliver the parcel; our email provider, to send your receipt. Each gets the minimum needed to do its part. We do not sell or rent your details, and we will not email you marketing you did not ask for.
We will hand over information if the law requires it, and no further than it requires.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, typically several years. Delivery addresses and phone numbers on long-closed orders are cleared out once they are no longer needed to handle a return or a dispute.
Your choices
Write to [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. We will do it, except where we are required to keep an order record for tax purposes - and we will say so plainly if that applies. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, and we will honour those too.
Children
This shop is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
